With reference to the earlier announcements dated January 15, 2010 and January 25, 2010, UTV Software Communications Ltd has now informed BSE that the scheme of arrangement relating to UMP Plc, UTV Motion Pictures (Mauritius) Ltd. and the Company has become effective as of January 25, 2010. In pursuance of the Scheme, the Company has transferred an amount of Rs. 75,000 Lakhs from the Securities Premium Account to Business Restructuring Reserve Account.
