Gujarat NRE Coke has announced its third quarter results of FY10. Its net profit increased to Rs 27 crore from Rs 13 crore and adjusted profit after tax rose 23% to Rs 27 crore from Rs 22.6 crore.
Last quarter, the company had an exceptional loss on account of Rs 9.6 crore FCCB.
Sideways movement in Coking coal prices for quarter impacted topline and lower purchases helped bottomline.
Net sales fell 28% to Rs 312 crore versus Rs 434 crore and EBITDA (earning before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) margin improved to 22% versus 10%.
