TTML Q3 revenues up 16% to Rs 603 cr
TTML (Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra)) has announced its third quarter results of FY10. The company registered 16% growth in revenues as compared to the corresponding quarter last year. Its nine-month ended revenue stood at Rs 1,666 crore.
It has reported sequential quarter on quarter revenue growth of 10%. Sequential quarterly EBITDA growth came in at 11% and for the nine months at Rs 414 crore with an EBITDA margin of 25%.
TTML launched GSM services in August 2009. GSM services were on offer in the third quarter for the full quarter, as compared to part of the quarter in the second quarter.
The extremely successful launch of TATA DOCOMO has given a significant boost to subscriber additions and revenues.
The subscriber base at the end of the third quarter stood at 11.5 million – an increase of 74% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Wireless Minutes of Use (MoUs) grew 39% over the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Revenues grew by 16% to Rs 603 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, compared to Rs 518 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year, and by 10% as compared to Rs 550 crore for the immediate preceding quarter.
The company registered an EBITDA of Rs 135 crore with an EBITDA margin of 22% for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, compared to Rs 151 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year, and Rs 121 crore for the immediate preceding quarter.
