HCL Tech Q2 net profit down at Rs 296.7 cr
HCL Technologies has announced its second quarter results of FY10. Its net profit declined to Rs 296.7 crore versus Rs 320.1 crore.
Revenues were flat at 3,032.5 crore versus Rs 3,031.4 crore. EBIDTA (earning before interest, depreciation, tax and amortisation) margin slipped to at 21.1% versus 22.7% and EBIDTA fell to Rs 638.6 crore from Rs 688.8 crore.
Net profit before forex gain/loss was at Rs 422.4 crore as against Rs 470.5 crore QoQ. Forex loss came in at Rs 125.7 crore versus Rs 150.4 crore.
As per US GAAP, its consolidated net income stood at USD 63.8 million versus USD 66 million and revenues at USD 651.7 million as against USD 630 million, a 3.4% growth.
Street had expected 3% growth in dollar revenues.
At 09:25 am, the share was quoting at Rs 364, down Rs 18.9, or 4.94%.
