With reference to the earlier announcement January 15, 2010, UTV Software Communications Ltd has now informed BSE that the Company has filed on January 25, 2010 with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra the copy of the order made by the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay dated January 08, 2010 sanctioning the Scheme of Arrangement between UMP Plc, UTV Motion Pictures (Mauritius) Ltd. and UTV Software Communications Ltd. Pursuant to the filling of the order as aforesaid all the Scheme have become effective and pursuant to the Scheme having become effective the Shareholders / Investors Grievance Committee met on January 25, 2010 and allotted 64,36,782 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each of the Company to the Independent Shareholders of UMP Plc.
